SOFT Geocaching...
Well this week was a good one. We are really feeling like we are leaving. We sold our car. The shipping is gone so the house is bare and I had to go Geocaching around town, so I didn't break the car... We have seven weeks left of school and it seems to be going fast. We ant wait to see Canada and America and good friends in each place. So in just under 2 months we will be back home in NZ and i will be about to start school.
I look forward to a new challenge in life. Here a couple of photos of today's journey. Sorry none of the house...

The FIG Artistic World Cup
Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the FIG Artistic World Cup. It was a fun afternoon of watching Gymnastics. We were expecting a top quality field like all the rest of the sports events Qatar gets. This was a little different. I changed the FIG to the falling Into Gymnastics. We saw so many people fall, backs, fronts, heads and necks. On the beam, the uneven bars, and the parallel bars. However nobody fell of the rings...
It was a little funny... Sorry we left the camera at home for this one. The time when we needed it we didn't have it oh well.
Either way it was fun...

Indoor Athletics World Champs
Well a couple of weekends ago, we attended one leg of the Athletics World Champs in Qatar. It was a great time. We picked the wrong days/ times to see Valerie Vili. She ended up coming second in the shot put. We had a great time hanging out. The place was a sell out so the atmosphere was crazy. We were glad that we went to watch it, another sporting event we managed to get to.

The inland Sea trip
Well last Friday we skipped church and went to the Inland sea. The inland see is where you look across the sea, Persian Gulf to Saudi. The sand is really nice and the water is meant to be a bit warmer... It was a cool experience off roading through massive sand dunes to get there. We had a big convey for about 20 cars getting there. A lot of cars got stuck so it took a while to get there. Was a great day out. Well worth it.

Camel Racing
Wow Such a long time with no posts... Wooops...
Well this weekend we wen to the camel racing track. Not too far away. It was a nice day, the sun was shining and the temp was only about 25. What more can you as for.It was quite an interesting experience. The camels don't have a person on them, instead they have a walkie talkie that has a whip attached. They control the speed of the camel by whipping it to make them go faster. So they drive around the outside of the track in there land cruisers on their walkie talkies... The circuit is very long. The Camels run an 8km track, talking just over 15 minutes. There is even a bus that goes around the track for people to ride on to see the racing. It is even televised. All in Arabic though... He likes to hold on to the words for a reallllllllllyyyyyyyyy looooonnnnnngggggg timmmmmmmmeeeeee..... Yeeeelllllllllllaaaaaaa (hurrry up)
