Dinner at the souqs

This was us out at the souqs. It was a really bright colours. Jen wasnt that hungry so she got the bread and chicken. Just the same as dirty bird (KFC).
It was a nice night after a busy weekend.

Busyness... Crazy weekends...

Well we have been rather bus lately. We have been to the Intercon hotel for a day. My best memory of that was floating in the sea while watching beach cricket.(Dudes hitting nice big sixes) We picked a nice day for it. Jen loved it too. Hanging out with friends from school.

The next weekend we did the global leadership summit with Willow Creek. We held this at our church so I was controlling all the sound for the group. A slight challenge, but we got through it. This conference was all done my dvd. It was good to have some rather similar life teaching. I also spent some time smacking golf balls with a new friend Adam. More show rehearsals too. A rather busy weekend.

We have Thanksgiving this weekend. So that will be really fun. We will put some pics up afterwards.

So when is somebody going to come over for a visit???



No worries about travel yet. We still have 20 odd days.... Come on the govt... We have all paid up so it better be all fixed.

The tennis

Day two of the tennis and what a day it was. These were the two matches we saw:
Vera Zvonareva vs Elena Dementieva
Venus Williams vs Jelena Jankovic
Both games went on to the third set.
We were going for Vera in the first game, she had a really slow second serve that was keeping Elena in the match. Vera won it so we were stoked.

Then the next match was awesome too. Venus came out smoking and Jelena had no answer to her power. In the second set Jelena just made Venus run. She was soooo tired, and won the set easily. In the 3rd set, it was really even. Jelena had heaps of chances to break Venus but just never quite got there. It was a great match.

Overall we loved our experience. We aren't going to the final though. But I don't think that you could match those two matches.

The Tennis day one

Halloween NIght

Well last night, was our school Halloween night. All the Elementary school teachers had to go and help out. It was an interesting night, where any of the school kids that wanted to come to could. They go down passed about 14 classroom doors where they trick or treat. They get heaps of candy from the high school kids behind the doors. They then move on to the haunted house in the cafeteria. Heaps of teachers give the kids some frights and candy and that sort of thing. After this they stayed on the covered tennis courts playing gala type games or field games until their parents were ready to go.

It was a nice evening with some cool costumes.
